This crumble is a a super easy and comforting dessert that's made without refined sugar and can also be gluten free!
Ingredients:
8 ripe plums
1 apple (red)
1 pear
4 tbsp coconut sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla extract
3/4 cup almond meal
1 cup quick oats (or gluten free oats)
1/3 cup dairy free butter
2 tbsp coconut sugar (for crumble)
1/4 cup sunflower seeds
Method:
Start by pre-heating oven to 180 degrees celcius.
Chop the fruit into small chunks and add to a mixing bowl with the cinnamon, vanilla and coconut sugar and toss to combine.
In a separate mixing bowl, rub the butter with your finger tips into the dry ingredients until it forms crumbs.
Scoop the fruit mixture into a ceramic baking dish and then sprinkle over the crumb.
Bake in the oven for 20 minutes or until the crumb is golden brown.
Serve hot and with some vegan vanilla ice cream!
