Multi-Purpose Vegan Cheese Sauce

A banging sauce that can be used to dip, coat and drizzle on practically anything. Pasta, nachos, chips, you name it. And with real, familiar ingredients too.


Ingredients

  • 2 carrots

  • 2 potatoes

  • 1/2 cup olive oil

  • 1 tsp miso paste

  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar

  • 2 cloves of garlic

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1/2 tsp mustard powder

  • 1/2 cup nutritional yeast

  • Pinch of pepper

  • 1/2 tsp salt (only add at the end according to personal preference)

Method

  • Boil the potatoes and carrots until very soft

  • Once cool, add boiled veggies to a food processor (a Nutri-Bullet does the trick) along with other ingredients

  • Blend until smooth (add water to thin mixture if needed)

  • Lick bowl clean
